Yes. Singaporean patients begin with a secure online video consultation. When surgery is indicated, we coordinate the operation at our Dubai (Koster Clinic) or Belgium center — Dubai is typically closer with direct SIN → DXB flights (~7 hours).
How does this compare with care under SingHealth or the private hospitals?
SingHealth, NUHS and the private hospitals provide excellent general urology and gynaecology, but laparoscopic pudendal nerve decompression is not a routine subspecialty procedure in Singapore. Our practice is focused specifically on this operation.
Will Integrated Shield Plan (MediShield / IP) cover overseas surgery?
Most Integrated Shield Plans (AIA, Great Eastern, Prudential, Income) reimburse overseas surgery when medically necessary and pre-authorised. We provide English medical reports, ICD/procedure codes and detailed invoices to support your claim.
