Biography

A life dedicated to pelvic surgery

Dr Renaud Bollens is a Professor of Urology and international authority on pudendal neuralgia. Over more than two decades he has developed and refined a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach to pudendal nerve decompression — a technique now practiced by a small number of centers worldwide.

His clinical work focuses exclusively on chronic pelvic pain: conditions that are frequently misdiagnosed or dismissed, and where a rigorous, focused evaluation is essential. Patients travel to Dubai and Belgium from across the world to receive structured assessment and, when indicated, surgical care.

Beyond his own practice, Dr Bollens is a recognised educator and mentor in pelvic surgical training, contributing to the development of the next generation of specialists in this under-served field.
